Self-Exploration Field Trips: Take your class on an adventure through the museum to discover different areas of science. Use your chaperones to break the students into small groups to explore the museum at their own pace. Check out our FAQ Sheet for answers to our most commonly asked questions. Cost: $5 per person
Focused Field Trips: Come in early to the museum and bring science to life with experiments! We will plan and host a lesson and activity from one of three topics. All activities are made to fit state standards for your children. Check out the flyer for more information. Cost: $6 per person
Museum Mania: The Terre Haute Children's Museum and Clabber Girl have joined to bring the ultimate field trip experience to your class. Spend the day at two local museums and eat lunch downtown. It's a great way to spend the day with your class. Click here for more information.

Ready to plan your trip? Fill out the Request Form and return it to the museum. We cannot hold dates until we have received a form. Once we receive your form, we will contact you within 3 business day and start scheduling your field trip. Field Trips for April and May fill up FAST! Make sure to schedule in advance to get a date and time you prefer. Please note that field trip scheduling is done on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will do our best to schedule your trip for a date and time that you prefer and that fits our busy schedule.
Lunch can also be provided for your field trip. Louise’s Downtown Café will prepare sack lunches for your field trip for a cost of $8.00 per person for lunch and admission.
