What's Cooking in the Kitchen

Many of the exhibits on the Terre Haute Children's Museum second floor flows together from farm to grocery to table. Move through the exhibits in order or choose your own path to play and explore in the best way for your learner. 

The kitchen marks the last stop after Ag-Citing and the Fresh & Fit Market. Grow your food, send it off, shop for what you need and then take it home. Once you're ready create a meal or organize your kitchen. Visitors will learn more about the additional products and ingredients in our food and why they're needed in some situations for longer shelf life. What's healthy about your favorite foods? And what's not?

Grab some friends and pull up a chair to the kitchen table. Talk about your day and what you've learned, it's just like home, just with plastic food.
